sheeee's back!

Emily got home last night from BYU...finally!  It has been a long week without her.  She of course had a great time and we have loved hearing about all her adventures.

My little Em is all grown up and off to BYU for her first trip to EFY (Especially for Youth - a week long youth conference for kids 14 - 18 yrs old)

I miss her!!  ALOT!!

I'm looking forward to Saturday night and having her back home - we all are!  The house isn't the same without her.


Hurry home Em - we can't wait to hug you!

she's off again

First Girls Camp now another trip with more trips to follow. Megan always seems to have a busy Summer vacation schedule.  This week she is off at BYU enjoying Especially for Youth.  

She looks so alert and happy in this 5 am photo taken right before we headed out for LAX on Monday.  

There have been a few texts back and forth and a brief phone conversation tonight to let us know that she is having a lot of fun and enjoying every minute of it - we knew she would.

A big thanks to Grandma Wood for delivering sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, hangers and a bunch of treats and goodies to Megan and her friend Kenzie - they sure appreciate it.

megan's big adventure

We were up at 5:30am so that we could get Megan ready and out the door to the train station. She and some friends are off to UC Santa Barbara for EFY.  She will spend a week at the campus having fun, meeting new people, playing games, dancing, staying up late and most importantly strengthening her testimony of Jesus Christ.

We will miss her but know that she is in good hands and will enjoy every minute of it.
